Crime What is crime? Crime is an act committed in rapine of law for which punishment is imposed upon conviction. It also can be irregular activity, a serious offense, especially in violation of morality. Crime make anyone, and everyone. People that commit crimes are of all gender, color, ethnicity etc. Crime effect all towns, cities, states, and countries even though many places are significantly variant in matters of crime that takes place there. Take for example Johnstown, Pennsylvania with a crime rate of 16.6 crimes per 1,000 residents in 1999 and Miami, Florida with a crime rate of 87.4 crimes per 1,000 residents in 1999.
